Soulama charges Hearts to beat Kotoko today
Though on national assignment with Burkina Faso, goalkeeper Soulama Abdoulaye is still monitoring activities within Hearts of Oak and has admonished the playing body to go all out to beat Kotoko today in the Super 2 clash. The goalkeeper, who is presently in Gabon awaiting their 2015 AFCON qualifier against the hosts later today, was not the least happy with the score line between Kotoko and his Club Hearts of Oak as the Phobians lot by two unanswered goals.
In a brief chat with sportscrusader.com Soulama said the Hearts team cannot afford to allow Kotoko beat them twice in a row adding that it will have a negative impact on the team as a whole.
“They have to win on Sunday no matter how small the margin or even the goal difference. A win is a win, and once the players get it then the rest will follow because they will be very confident.”
“I have been with Kotoko for so long to know that anytime we beat Hearts or vice versa, the result affects the team for sometime before we cover.”
Soulama also expressed his frustration at the delay of the commencement of the First Capital Plus League, an action he stressed is affecting players and their training programs.
